That was not as successful a hunting mission as I would have preferred.

[livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan and I went up to Salem to look for Evolutionary Witchcraft and failed to find it. Did find Twelve Wild Swans, which I've never actually seen in a store before, so I have something from it aside from a tremendous headache and a nervous contemplation of my ear canals. (I was getting that peculiar earache feeling that translates roughly to "If you stay out in this wind much longer, you're going to get an ear infection.")

It's typical for me, isn't it? I start doing something moderately mainstream and get back into religious witchcraft, only I'm winding up with something that nobody outside of the little corner of the 'net I lurk in has heard of. :P All of the bookstores in Salem were all very, "No, I'm sorry, I've never heard of it, we haven't gotten much stock in since Samhain anyway . . ." Moomph.

And they all had Circle of Isis, which I found in the first one of them last time and didn't pick up and didn't find in any of the others. Sheesh.

May wind up writing the religious-maunderings post (one of the things I've been meaning to write for a while) later. It's on my mind and stuff.

Completely randomly:
Whitney says, ". . . that was really disturbing."
Tesla [[livejournal.com profile] oneironaut] says, "Disturbing?"
Whitney says, "There was a brief shot of some Bravo promo for something called 'Manhunt' or something like it. About twenty guys, I guess, all of them in identical white shorts. And -all of them- the -exact same- shade of tanned-beige. No ethnic variation whatsoever."
    Tesla says, "Eeegh."
    Whitney says, "Yeah, exactly."

Re: feri thingy

Aha.

Is that the genesis of your search for this particular book, or is the workshop's timing serendipitous?
