Would someone please explain to me what demographic these people are trying to hit by making a big deal of showing Star Trek: The Next Generation reruns and the-event-formerly-known-as-the-WWF next to each other?
Judging from my family: seven-year-old geeks. By the time he was eight, he'd outgrown the WWF; he still watches ST, but he prefers Enterprise and Voyager to TNG.
They're going for the market that wants to see "The Ultimate Smackdown" applied to Wesley Crusher. Think about it; that's got to be just about everyone who ever watched TNG. I know, I know, Wil Wheaton is actually a nice guy, and I've seen his site, and he was only fourteen at the time, and blah, blah, blah...
I still want to see someone put Wesley in a "Steel Cage Death Match".

Well. . .
Does that help?

"I GONNA CODE YOU UNTIL YOU CRY FOR MAMA!"
"Oh yeah? I don't think you've got COBOLs enough to take me down!"
"C++ my ass!"
