Yes, very thingy. Also, y'know, thing.
Talked to Mom today -- she gave me a call and we chatted for an hour, hour and a half, something like. Thingy. I need to call Jamie; she suggested I call him after Thursday 'cause he's having another set of tests done then.
Want this game to come out. Steving badly. It's so pretty. And the god descriptions aren't awful. (And since
keshwyn got her Uru and
teinedreugan got his Kohan: Kings of War we're running low on computer game obsessiveness around here.)
Mom's apparently back in touch with Mrs. Rubin, which is awfully cool; I was wondering how she was doing. (Mrs. Rubin was one of the major figures of my childhood; she was the reading specialist at Hyattsville Elementary School. She also was the adult in charge of the school paper, which was one of the places that the system filed the gifted kids so we'd have something to occupy ourselves with other than flinging pencils into the ceiling and plotting world domination.)
Promised
teinedreugan (who had to stop watching the debate before he reached through the screen and strangled all participants for being evasive) that if I ever run for President and someone asks me why I think I'm qualified for the job, I'll answer, "Welp. I was born in Massachusetts, am a United States citizen, am at least thirty-five years old, and have been a resident in this country for at least fourteen years."
