Over here in Waltham, are democratic candidates for the primary are both twinks to some degree - one of them opposes both abortion rights and same-sex marriage, the other one opposes abortion rights (slightly less) and is in favor of same-sex marriage, or at least against ammending the constitution.
My theory on who to vote for depends on the fact that the MA legislature is unlikely to be voting on abortion rights anytime soon, but they will be voting on same-sex marriage. If any year is a good one to be a one-issue voter, this is it.
Of course, Jill Stein (remember her? Green party candidate for governer?) is running for rep in my district too. If I'm still living here during the final election, she's getting my vote.
