I am most mightily housewifely.

I have made herbed roast beast with the usual onions. And roast potatoes. And served it with wine I brewed myself.

The wine has been deemed 'weird'. I think I like it, though if I do it again I may do something the mute the acidity.

I don't think you brew wine. I'm not sure what verb you do use; I think just "make" -- in Napa they refer to "winemakers". At any rate "brew" just sounds wrong.

This is one of those corners where I suspect my father would peer over the top of his glasses and intone, "Complicated language, English."

It's still homebrewing, whether one's doing beer-type stuff or wine-type stuff, after all . . .
