I installed the moon on Overland.

You may think that this is no big deal. When considering this, however, you must remember three things, dear reader. One: I am completely insane. Two: I am incredibly compulsive about completely irrelevant things. Three: I was once an astronomy major.

The moon rises and sets at times appropriate to its phase. In, I note, the five different regions of Overland, all of which are at a different time of day and, barring oddities, point in their mooncycle. When the moon is below the horizon, the code says you can't see it. The tides in the Coast region are correctly linked to the moon (thus depending on phase and time of day), though I'm going to make that even more fiddly and correct at some point when I'm not reeling giddily around and being terrified of curly brackets.

You may judge the current difficulty of progress on the WIP by the fact that this was attractive displacement activity.

In other news, apparently either the water heater or associated pipes want to be sure that we don't fall short on our dietary needs for Fe2O3. This explains why the tub keeps turning red even when I haven't dyed my hair recently. (I'm really quick on the uptake!)
