Hey, your dog Navarre is very cute! :) As for quick fencing, some people I know are considering invisible mesh deer fencing (something like http://www.deerfence.com/invisible/index.html ) since it's apparently pretty sturdy and relatively cheap per foot...
Ah, that's actually the link I was looking for! My friend (who's trying to fence in a multi-acre field next to her training building) was very pleased with the samples they sent, though I don't know yet what her final decision was. As for money, yeah, the costs of fencing are astronomical-- I was quite shocked when I started looking into it. This whole home ownership thing seemed so much simpler when I was a kid. ;)

I've been looking at that type of fencing. We need to fence in an area for them, and that is perfect.
