Couple spoonfuls of sugar, some powdered cloves. Hefty splash of vanilla. Mostly-filled mug with milk. Heated up in microwave. Topped up with spiced rum.

Shared it with Hwt-Hrw. Cows and booze. Can't go wrong.

Section 127: 216 words, and a conversation best written sober.

Oooh! Rock bagpipes! (I wish the album this is offa wasn' out of print or otherwise unfindable. Rar.)

. . . What kind of bird am I?
. . . How can I learn to fly?

*laughs* Nope, can't go wrong there! And that recipe sounds pretty damn good.

I've been sharing a lot of food lately.
I wasn't aware you could do it that way--I always set aside a portion of whatever and burned it, or poured it out on the ground, or whatever. I probably still will. But this whole co-tasting thing is very new. Nice, though. Even works, sort of, with the deceased, and that's good family bonding any way you look at it.
It just stands to reason you'd already know about it, though. Darn recons with your -literacy-...

*smug grin* Oh, the Enter the Haggis album wasn't that hard to find. It should be arriving on your doorstep shortly, airmail from Scotland.

Indeed; from Ontario, I think the sites said. But I can't get the website for the Canadian indiemusic place that also has their CD to work, and they charge more for shipping anyhow. On the other hand, they do have a sample MP3 of a different track off that album, if you (or someone else) are interested.

ooo! i used to often make something similar, with brown sugar, and cinnamon and vanilla. nothing like it when you're stressed and need to sleep deeply. no nutmeg though. bad dreams with the nutmeg.

That reminds me...[livejournal.com profile] meranthi's pregnancy meant that she offered your apple-mead to visitors rather than partaking herself. Now that she's given birth, she's allowed to have a small drink now and then. So she would definitely be interested in more apple-mead when you do another batch.
