I don't remember much of this one, but I wanted to write bits down.

There was a game of some sort involved that seemed to be assembling a rather large crocodile with peacock feathers out of tiles, and there was a time limit or some such involved lest all participants be washed away in a Great Flood. The critter was pretty interesting-looking; I'm wondering if it means anything, and may wander around looking for something to make it mean if not.

[livejournal.com profile] keshwyn was playing the game, or something, but I have in between getting up and deciding to write these things down forgotten what was going on. (She was not, however, in this dream, a dragon shapeshifted into a baker.)

And there was this piece of jewelry. A net of beads where the beads were so densely woven onto the net that it was nearly armour. Rrrroughly triangular -- it was probably a menat, though it didn't have a backpiece -- big enough to hang down over my breasts (which were, in the dream, significantly more stacked than I come naturally; this was because I had a buffalo in my shirt. It was a dream, okay?), with a sort of fringe of other beads. Many of the beads in the menat were turquoise -- there was a whole band of turquoise cylinders -- and there were other stones there, though I don't recall anything but that it was multicoloured. And it was sort of threaded like lace; there were occasional places that it had gaps in the meshwork, intentional ones, more or less oval or diamond-shaped.

I'm sort of wondering how I would go about making such a thing. It would take me a long time, to say the least, to acquire all the relevant beads and put it together and . . . wow. I wonder what I could use for a backplate.

If a person could find or draw a representation of the kinds of beads, a person might pretty easily get some help finding some, if a person wanted.

E,
