kiya: (just let me eat my waffle)

I put my wedding ring and my engagement ring back on ANYWAY.

Today for dinner I made something containing more green vegetables than I think we've had in a meal for months. The other conclusive sign of spring is that the neighbors were tooling up and down the street on their motorbikes, sigh.

Lacking-a-sweet-tooth me has been wanting ice cream with M&M's on it ... almost constantly. I guess I have to have something stereotypical about my pregnancy.

I go to sleep listening to the rain and wake up and everything's searing white again.

There's a moth in the house and the cat who usually ignores moths is completely and noisily losing it.

I can't even begin to figure out how to formulate the rant I want to make about telephone trees and call-in stuff and all that nonsense. Three different financial thingies have annoyed me in three different ways today, which is a neat trick.

My throat hurts.

My period of actually having concentration and the capacity to work on a project was completely screwed up by computer glitchiness, making my choice to stay home this evening and be cranky and work rather than have dinner with the family kind of futile.

I'm pretty sure I have two appointments tomorrow, which gives me a massive case of the howling d'wannas.

I have made too many Important Phone Calls today. I want the universe to leave me alone.

The cat who shut off the ringer on the phone has turned it back on again. I do not know how either was accomplished, so every time the phone rings I jump half out of my skin.

Bunny, puppy.

Weekly fetal progress research led me to find this:

"Hooray! You're halfway there! And in case you don't believe 20 weeks is a milestone worth celebrating, consider that it's longer than a semester at college—or any relationship you had in high school. "

Well, I suppose it stopped being 'in high school' after about seven months, when I graduated ... but that's still more than twenty weeks.

(Hey [livejournal.com profile] memerath, are you feeling better about my posting frequency now? ;) )
