Practice Safer Post-Reading: Use Latex

Just wanted to chronicle this exchange, because it amused me at the time.

So the Cauldron was going off on some randomness in response to someone who was arguing that it was historically the case that one could identify someone's religion by looking at them. With complete silliness, stuff like, "And you can identify the Asatru from the swollen thumbs from hitting them with their hammers" and "You know the Buddhists by their orange robes" and the like.

Someone said something to the effect of, "Don't forget the Kemetics, they walk funny."

Which arawen responded to (after coming over to see why I was laughing) with, "So do the Feris. Just for different reasons."

I posted that one and we did in a monitor.


Anyway. Irritated. I need to do various things before this weekend, and I am aggravated by most of them. Backing up my hard drive glitched again, making the getting the machine repaired thing difficult again. I need to do laundry. I need to get to the grocery store so I can get stuff to make potluck food and also I was going to make Grandy Jay's fudge cake and bring that. (I think it was Lilith whose birthday this training weekend is....) I need to send a recipe to Sarai. I need to do my preparations for PantheaCon, which is oddly fraught. All of this is annoying me, as is the need to go make myself something to eat.

Mmph. Bunny, puppy.
