Apparently [livejournal.com profile] jikharra's last minute copyediting/galleyproof party for The Mutant Experience (shameless plug) was deemed impressive. We are mighty smiters of erratic punctuation and strange whitespace.

Played two different things at games -- a game of Puerto Rico (where I came in a very close second, 51 points to Dave's 52, for my best game ever) and two games of Hoopla. Also talked writing and religion with [livejournal.com profile] keshwyn and [livejournal.com profile] anu3bis.

Going to bed as soon as I'm done with this vodka (note to self: make more krupnikas). Must be up early tomorrow to a) be sure I'm able to get up even earlier on Saturday and b) get everything I need to get done done.

To-do list for tomorrow, personal reference )

I have accomplished much today.

Not only have I accomplished all the things I crossed off but -- but! -- I have had several pointless and annoying arguments!

I mightily need a proper kitchen scale. Probably also a kitchen stool and an entirely new body from approximately mid-back down. (Ow.)

I wonder why my brain automatically informs me when my food (such as these pierogies coated most profoundly in sour cream) violates meat/milk separation. I'm not Jewish; I've never been Jewish; I have no Jewish heritage whatsoever (unless there's something back in the depths of the Polish Catholic corner of my family tree that's lost to genealogy). (It does this sometimes with other things of that sort, like when I'm putting bacon bits on my baked potato, thereby generating pig meat & sour cream violations, but mostly I just get general, "You know, that's milchig" twinges at complete random.)

And while I'm on the subject of kosher laws, here's some link sausage. )

Okay. Not going to get to the tub. Pills, shower, painkillers, bed, in that order, now.
