Day before yesterday's wordcount was: 1176.
Yesterday's wordcount was: 807.
Today's wordcount was: 1256.

I'm toying with the idea of seeing if I can do fifty kilowords in November and December combined; I think that needs about eight hundred a day if I remember the maths I did for it right. I haven't declared it as a formal goal yet.

Also today I wrote up a few miscellaneous monsters for the Semtek game. No idea how nasty the nasty one is in a functional sense; ah well. And I beat Wizardry 8, finally, so that's a shiny object I don't have to concern myself with anymore.

In other thoughts, I just learned/confirmed that one of my exes ([livejournal.com profile] dirtydianadd's brother) is engineeringing with the Army. To which I can only say, ". . . well, I'm consistent." Sheesh.

(What am I gonna do when I get a little excited a little in pain? Tell me, what am I gonna say when I find that the centre of my heart is a suburb to the brain singing na na na na na na, na na na na na na.)

To study: Lost Tribes of the Stop & Shop.

While leaving the grocery today, [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan and I were followed by several members of this lost and mysterious tribe. The first words spoken by these mysterious people, out of touch with humankind for so long, were, "It's snowing! When did that start?"

We must study them, learn about them and from them, determine if they know why essentially all the packages of eggs in the grocery store had at least one broken. As [livejournal.com profile] humanx said, "We can learn much from their ways."
