Ahoy folks-I-did-Samhain with. For your general amusement, according to the calendar for Peret III from the temple I'm affiliated with, 2 February is Nit's Festival of Lights. Presuming the year hasn't shifted any. I do believe that I am amused. (I believe Nit/Neith was one of the Names I gave you,
keshwyn, yes? I add to previous list that she was also consulted on difficult issues occasionally, because her age brought her wisdom.) (Other calendars give the same festival as 19 January; New Year depends partly on latitude and that sounds about right for the date for Egypt.) (I was looking up what festivals were upcoming, since you asked.)
Got stuff to make Soup. Spent some ponderings on whether or not it's possible to substitute cornstarch or something for the flour for the people I know who are gluten-intolerant or allergic to wheat. Have a mighty bounty of mushrooms. Pretty sure I remembered everything I need this time.
Must get work done. To get work done I probably need to fix my blood sugar. A chunk of Vermont cheddar, a loaf of bread, and thou, with me singing in the wilderness.

It's not especially likely to be anything other than academic, given the intervening planet and all, but it's good to know that maize-starch could work. Thankye.

The product you have is probably OK; if you really want to be sure, look for the magic words "gluten free" on the label the next time you're wanting to buy some.
