And good gods, I hope Johnny Damon's all right. Owwwww. (And also, someone please shoot whoever at Fox decided that we needed to see the collision forty times.) I'm lighting a candle for him.



And now I've ripped an MP3 of "Dirty Water", because I feel a need to have it handy. (And while I was at it I snagged a couple of discs out of the stack it was in, so I've ripped some James Taylor and am currently pulling Depeche Mode. My iTunes only gets weirder.)

Any chance of my getting a copy of that mp3? The only copy I've been able to find was some punk cover of it that doesn't sound how I imagine it's supposed to sound. :) I would like to actually HEAR this song that everybody quotes all the time around here.

According to the Globe, Damon is in the hospital with a concussion. OUCH!!!

Yeah. He and Damian Jackson collided; he took Jackson's head nearly in the eye -- bone just above and over from the bridge of his nose. Both of them were laid out; Damon passed out a couple minutes, but was alert by the time they got him in the ambulance.

Coming out of that with just the concussion is lucky.
