Section 37: 1820 words. And [livejournal.com profile] oneironaut is proud of gtstself for getting the subtext. So cute. ;) (I finished 36 yesterday but didn't post about it.)

Wound up distracted by shiny object and discussing names with [livejournal.com profile] iced_spice. Yay, shiny object. Shiny, shiny, shiny.

(Hm. I seem to be channeling bits of [livejournal.com profile] elynne's public persona. All I need is a clicky thing, and possibly Bast!.)

Hm. Music appropriate to other conversations, yes, yes.

Unrelated to your post, except that you mentioned one of the names, what are the correct pronunciations of [livejournal.com profile] lilairen, [livejournal.com profile] oneironaut, and [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan, please?

I've been saying (mentally, anyway) lih-LAIR-en, oh-NAY-roh-naut, and tane-DREW-gan, but I strongly suspect I'm wrong.

I assume (though, thanks to English, I can't be certain) that by 'nay' you mean as in the opposite of 'yea' -- I'm actually pronounced 'oh-NYE-roh-naut', as in 'the Science Guy'. Oh, and the 'naut' is pronounced like 'naught', not 'kraut'. It's an, as far as I know, entirely modern coinage from the ancient Greek for 'dream traveller'.

I also answer to Squid, which, for some reason, people seem to have an easier time with....

Drat; I can't seem to find a plausible way to mispronounce Squid....

'Squeed'? Like 'screed' through a harelip filter. Two mispronounciations for the price of one!

I keep wanting to pronounce your handle "ill-ARE-ee-en," but that's entirely a product of my own peculiar version of dyslexia. ;)

This isn't my public persona - this is how I really am. Scary, isn't it? ;D

Ooooh. Hm... there is a difference between the public-access and various levels of filtration me, isn't there? I hadn't noticed that, somehow. Heh.
