75 words done on 32. Don't know if I'll get any more done tonight, I have to write a feathered nursery rhyme because it's being quoted in the text and I've been distracted by a shiny object. (It's a video, video.)

Y'see, I found a stack of CDs lying around and peered at them. Abba, Collective Soul, The Charlie Daniels Band, Fleetwood Mac, Genesis, Information Society, Meat Loaf. (Not bad for random from just a stack lying around.) And I said, "Hey, I'll rip 'The Devil Went Down to Georgia' while I know where it is." And I did.

And then I played Boston's "I Had a Good Time."

And then I played Red Rider's "Lunatic Fringe."

And then iTunes started up with War Again, and now I'm wandering around cleaning the living room and getting even more wired by the moment because wheeeeeeeeee. . . .

Oh for all that's holy. U2. "Pride (In The Name of Love)." Live version.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Addendum: Also, I finally found Spirit Voices. Which I meant to mention before I had the U2 Moment. Current music: "The Times They Are A'Changin'." It'll soon shake your widnows and rattle your walls!

Suzi bought an mp3 of a live version of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" recently, and was quite disappointed to find that it wasn't nearly as good as the usual recorded version. I think we need a copy of that CD.

But, yeah, I can see how this particular set of music would end up with a rather hyper [livejournal.com profile] lilairen -- I'm imagining you being about as wired as my friend Matt was after playing an hour of Sonic the Hedgehog one night.

Tell me how the sunrise looks, eh? *grin*

Re: But you can take your bottom line . . . and shove it.

Heh. There's a transition for you, I suppose; thirty years of history jumped over....

I didn't find myself nearly as fond of that album as I was of their earlier albums, somehow, though. I'm not really sure why. And, ironicly, I think we ended up with two copies of it.
