I hate this stupid way of doing prescriptions. I got a shipment notification on my pills earlier, and while it'll almost certainly get here before I run out, I still am teh grouch.

People who can read Japanese (and I know there are a few around here), [livejournal.com profile] jonsinger is deathly curious about a bit of packaging and is asking for the possible assistance of people who can read. So anyone who'd like to kill time translating a miso package. . .

My brother called me a few hours ago. He sounds worlds better -- I think the getting the procedure over with was a big load off his mind. Apparently large intestine stuff is worse to have than small intestine stuff, but small intestine stuff is a lot more fiddly to fix. He's got more tests coming up, and is hoping to get them scheduled before he leaves the country. Diagnosis is "Crohn's" or "really bewildered doctors", more or less, but they want to confirm. (Next round of tests: enteroscopy (camera on a string down the throat), drink something vile and do an X-ray (which I've had back when they were seeing if I had an ulcer), and then swallow a pill with a camera in it and see what it sends back to confirm.)

My plants still aren't here. I'm not expecting this next round until next week (one of the lilies is apparently not normally available until June), but I still check when I get up.

Wrist still grouchy. But I have a superfluity of braces.
