Woke up this morning in part because ER is a really shitty bedmate and even worse at occupying space than actual cats, also more obvious stress dreams. Turned on the light and then spent most of an hour curled up in fetal position in bed because turning on the light expended all of my capacity to take an action.
Eventually made it downstairs and curled up in fetal position in public, and was actually sufficiently depressed to be shedding tears. This was not fabulous.![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
artan applied some presstacks and handed me a rock, and after a bit I roused enough to eat a thing, and eventually to go "Fuckit" and go up to the office to get my tablet set up.
I got the tablet set up, mostly, and then had Teine techsupport me through making it actually go (I had the wrong cable for one of the cables, and have no idea why that one was in the box). There was enough space in the shelving that I could put a shelf in to store the tablet, so I put that in, and then spent a little while tinkering before dinner.
Then dinner, then bedtime for the junior monkeys, and then starting up with Deliria withmadgastronomer, in which Danny, my character, was Very Freaked Out. Usually a rather outgoing sort of fellow, he basically did the 'if I sit very still nothing will notice me' in part because without his fiddle and in someone's house where he can't smoke he was deprived of soothing fidgets. Fortunately he is now to dinner where at least he can fidget with the fork. ;)
