It's worth noting that both of those were written as refutations of heresies. I recommend you study the heresies if you can, most especially the Arian heresy which was the very first and which provided the foundation of modern Unitarianism. (As well as the Christian basis of Islam.)
I have a great respect for heretics. They think deeply about their faith, and risk much to buck the official line. Beyond that, Arius was just a heck of a fine guy.
