First snippet: I do not remember the setup for this but there was a whole thing where I-as-my-D&D-character-Celyn (for values of Celyn) and an associated party of four others (unspecified) had, for reasons, to win a game that was called blaseball but which was basically ice hockey using a baseball that was maneuvered with baseball bats. Some of which may have had lacrosse-ish notches on the end for ballflinging purposes, but mostly it was bats, used like bats. How the ball got in the air regularly is unclear to me in retrospect.
Celyn-me insisted on being goalie. "It's okay, I have a dex of 17." Also apparently Celyn-me was the only person who knew what the fuck the game actually was and had played goalie before?
The other thing I have less of, but was set in an approximation of the real world, in which I was having a complicated scheduling day due to, apparently, blinking and having the blink last an hour and a half, some of which I was supposed to be using to do things like "attend my music lesson" and "pick up FM after school". Several unexpected people were involved in a Helleno-Roman hero cultus spirituality. The dream fragments at the edges, so while I remember there was a plot it is completely lost in the stress of wondering wtf the schedule is doing.
Somehow this seems reasonably metaphorical for actual life.
