I have been disapproving of this particular conjunctivitis for about three weeks and I would like my disapproval to be less current events.
The whole 'this random townsperson has been caught up with the two Actual Adventurers' bit was amusing for a while, in the 'no, that dwarf just turned into a giant badger to exhume some mutilated corpses for further autopsy' 'and the lizardfolk does not bat an eye about this, or, for that matter, the mutilated corpses' way.
Izar's last adventuring party was destroyed by some charm/command/possession type magic and when we learned that the Bad Things had evidence of having such powers they had to take a moment, mind. (They have a ring of No, You Can't Read My Mind, I have Advantage Against Being Charmed, And Telepathic Communication Only If I Say Yes because of this. To go with the rapier +0 of fits in my pocket and the Gloves of Thieving.)
