Doing the con virtually means at least less choice paralysis about which panel to go to, and has given me a random desire to someday wind up on a panel with
autopope, out of sheer appreciation for his deftness at supporting other panelists in being heard. Excellent humaning.
(This requires me to feel confident enough to try being on a panel at all, which I have done once in like 2001 at Minicon, well before I was actually publishing anything, but hey. It was a panel on newcomers to conventions in which when we did the introductions I sort of peered down the row at people and going last said "and I'm the token newbie".)
