Hooray we will have a proper front door before we have to have our blower test, that was kinda relevant. Other attempts to mend the house are stalled due to complex contractor phone/agreement tag which is infinitely frustrating.

artan did an acupuncture treatment for me and commented that my metal pulse was running high, and theorizes that when I'm dead tired basically all available energy goes to defensive systems. And, indeed, the needling fucking hurt. My overactive protective layer is one of the reasons he often doesn't use actual needles on me, because my body's reaction to them is often "THE FUCK IS THAT THING".)
KJ's most Order Muppet friend dropped by yesterday to leave a birthday present and I complimented her on her firm grasp of her character in the game - she was playing the fighter and doing things like "I should open the door, I'm the tough one" and "I should fight in the door rather than get surrounded". Her father said she had a blast and she seemed to agree. So, all good there. (The Zoom gaming ranged in chaos factor from "WHY CAN I NOT EAT ALL THE NPCS" friend to "Default muted on Zoom, raises hand to request space to speak" friend, so she's more Scooter than Sam the Eagle.)
I might be remembering how to write again, I have about 60% of a concept for one of this year's ZNB prompts. Also, since I got my SH rejection, I can send "Ragdoll" there on Monday. (I have also turned the rejection around and sent it out again, so I was professionally useful. Also I contacted an editor for something that was in the works but has been quiet for a while to make sure I didn't miss communications!)
Uhhh I feel like there are other things but I don't know what they are. Brains? Brains.
