Today in rule of thumb

Rule of Thumb evaluation: I have decided that the border between what I'll call pain scale 5 and pain scale 6 is whether or not I have the occasional need to put my head down on the table and whimpersob.

Also the children are really bloody whiny and I am not sure what scale that goes on right now but I am hitting "out of numbers" on that one.

I suspect that child whininess is probably graded with square roots or possibly imaginary numbers. It would be very weird math.
