The project lead has informed me that of course he can't say whether or not I'm getting a part before the audition period closes but IT IS NICE THAT I CAN FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.
Being socially acquainted with the fellow and thus involved in his conversations about The Fun He Has Had With Auditions For The Main Cast is good for getting feedback? But we'll see. I'm doing this on a lark, more or less, but I'm feeling sort of stunned by my own actual bravery in doing it.
Also I have determined that I can do recording of lines after child has gone to sleep without waking her, so if I do get the gig that simplifies scheduling notably. :}
