[livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan says his mom's all right, and is being kept in the hospital for observation for the day. The tests don't show signs of a serious heart attack or any such.

And I finally have a fucking appointment for a physical. Admittedly, I held off on trying to get one through the time when [livejournal.com profile] erispope and then [livejournal.com profile] brooksmoses were visiting, but that little gap let me call and get one for 10 December on the first go, no call back later. Moomph. *sets up an email in her queue to send that afternoon for a reminder*

I wonder if the PA I see for physicals will ask me again if I'm still seeing both [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan and [livejournal.com profile] brooksmoses. I'm about yea far from responding to that with, "No, I haven't gotten divorced since last we spoke" if she does.

My doc asks after my partners, but not in a bad way. Is this in a bad way?

I've actually been really impressed with how well our medical professionals have handled poly-things.

My new doctor is poly. (And poly friendly.) (And really, as far as I'm concerned, she's a verbena, right down to prescribing herbs for me for my headaches and PMS. ;)

If your doctor continues to be useless, let me know and I'll point you at my doctor.

How about, "Yes, they are both fine, thank you for asking; I'll let them know you asked after them. How is your lover?"

That's a fine answer. You could try adding a smile and "but thank you for your concern" at the end.
