Wow, the first ten minutes of that movie are hell to watch while hopped up on pregnancy hormones. Not just the obvious bit, but also the "Whatever you choose I'll be proud of you" bit. Usually it takes a leetle more effort for a movie to have me in tears, wot?

I tried to not bawl. I had forgotten whom the actor who was playing Kirk, so I was like "yes, they're going to live!" and then they said the name of the kid.. and I just went... " D: ... damn you, JJ Abrams!" and then tried not to cry a lot. Gosh.
