This post at [livejournal.com profile] sexeteria is hitting me with a certain amount of synchronisity. Also this, from [livejournal.com profile] serenejournal.

Sort of doing taxes. Running into things I don't have the documents for. Flailing slightly.

Can't get the heating pad plugged in here because out of plugs, but fortunately between [livejournal.com profile] whispercricket and [livejournal.com profile] arawen finding me their heating pad last night and [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan rubbing the muscle when we got home it is mostly just a little stiff.

Alas, I fear that otherwise wonderful curry is alarming to my stomach, and I have no idea what might do that. I hope it's just the instance of the stuff or the combination with whatever's been alarming my stomach, because damn that's good.

Edited to Add: Conversation with [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan last night:
    Him: *rumbly noises*
    Me: You're purring.
    Him: Yup.
    Me: Lions can't purr.
    Him: I purr.
Me: You're just better than the other lions?
    Him: Yup.

([livejournal.com profile] lady_and_lion, that would be the Leo. ;) )

Very strange dreams last night.

I remember two:

The first one appeared to be a Shadowrun scenario involving three World of Warcraft druids, at least two of whom were level 68 at minimum (as there was a bit about evading security by going birdshape and thus not triggering the floor panels or being particularly remarkable to security cameras, which, in retrospect, since it was a featureless concrete hallway unlikely to have Gifuckinggantic Birds in, seems implausible). I don't remember what they were trying to do, but there was taking out two guards, flying through the short concrete hallway to the heavy door at the other end, breaking through into a larger room, and then all hell broke loose and everyone went bear ....

The other one:

I'm not sure what the setup for this one is either. Most of my dreams start weirdly in the middle, anyway. I had taken some sort of evaluation test, and they were doing a followup (which included repeating taking the test), and wanted to expand the thing, and for some reason had independently tapped [livejournal.com profile] arawen, so we sensically went together to the thing (which was some distance away and apparently in a convention hotel). And there was much chaos, needing to extend the trip because they had poorly arranged some medical foo (or something?), intermittent sex, random chaos, and really it's a terribly confused mass. Apparently it's very difficult to get private time in a universe where people keep changing everyone's room assignments....

That is a most excellent snip of conversation.

(I am also highly amused by your commentary on the first dream. Glad to know I'm not the only one who has that kind of reaction to illogical bits.)

I sometimes so wish people really could purr! I think that lovely shuddery rumble is what I miss most about having no cats. My dream recall sucks the last week, I am overtired; so I envy you yours, even with gifuckinggantic birds!

Whoa. And, um, whoa. Those two links were way appropriate for a lot of what I've been thinking lately. And then something finally opened for me and I was able to re-integrate some stuff that hadn't been making much sense.

So thanks, from one Wepwawet kid to another. :)
