It itched horribly, in that 'Argh, my knee itches, *scratch scratch*' sort of way. It was swollen, hot to the touch, red, all that good stuff.
I slathered the entire region with antibiotic ointment once I became consciously aware of its presence and it appears to have calmed down overnight. So that's something.
