Today I saw the Narnia movie, failed to go on a homicidal rampage when the Cheesecake Factory decided to grace my reality with excessively loud renditions of "Jingle Bell Rock" despite being handed a fork, worked out several chunks of why I'm in a weird, fragile mood, attempted to verbalise complicated things in three or five different contexts, was baffled and amused by the internet in rapidly cycling sequence, tested to make sure I have access to connection and work materials so my machine can go get repaired, and angsted ineffectually. Oh, and I did some dithering, too.

Also, oneironaut got home, yay. Conversation with gtst immediately turned to sexually explicit gingerbread and an aesthetic discussion of bondage rope, then wandered off into discussing my weird personal issues and shared brainspace and also Tom pretty. Because yeah. Stuff.

Also, the movie theater has put in some sort of touch-sensitive panel thing on the floor on one side, which was running some kind of animated soccer video game with a small child as sole player when we got in. It was delightful. And we had to show it to whispercricket, who poked at it for a good while when it was just making ripples when prodded.

Back up machine now and then sleep.

sinboy and I live in a neighborhood rather distant from our workplaces downtown, with elevated subway tracks as well as above-ground commuter and freight trains. It didn't take me long after we moved here to realize that we found a place to settle down, got a job in the city nearby, and watch the trains roll on by. I've had that song stuck in my head since approximately March.
