Make the chicken soup? That's always festive enough for my tastes. (But mine always comes out as stew, not soup, because I never remember to stop adding veggies.)

I was following the game on the Web. The second time the Angels loaded the bases, I damn near had a heart attack.

OK, so I had to go to Cakes (my women's spirituality thing).

Got out of the car, score was 6-1, Arroyo'd just walked the first batter of the inning. I was figuring they could get along without me.

Got back into the car afterwards, Troop was going batshit insane over David Ortiz, and I'm feeling like I'm getting whiplash.
