56 words. Yeah, I'm making spectacular progress here.
In general updateness, the knee is several orders of magnitude better; I've found a brace for it that almost fits; it still hurts, but mostly only when I'm trying to stand up and also but less so when I'm trying to sit down. As I spent most of the day on the couch with it propped up on a pillow, except for the half-hour I spent cleaning the stove in a fit of rage, that hasn't been a significant issue.
Fall down now.
