Today's random thought, actually somewhat sequitur to the colour-bar: Marriage is the established spellwork for manifesting a family-entity. Or perhaps an egregore, an old, well-established, and mightily potent egregore, which people tap into in forming their families. Here I go off into chewing on magical theory again, and pondering ritual declarations and the heka of words spoken manifesting existence.

ibnfirnas: I need to talk with you about dead people. I had weird dreams, in a very psychopompy way.

I am no longer blood-sugar-crashy. Thus, I should hike down to Ocean Street.

Addendum: I have voted, hear me roar!

I got to pick whether it was a boy or a girl. :P (They had pink cards and light blue cards to fill out.) And I voted, and blundered around a bit because they moved everything around and I couldn't find the ballot-eating monster, and I filled out the card so I'd stay registered independent, and I checked out. The cop guarding the front door was sad that there were no little old ladies selling baked goods when I mentioned that they were usually there.

I hit the sidewalk, and my music widget started playing "Peace of Mind."
