I'm really damn tired and sort of generically cranky. It's not that it was a bad day or anything, just ...
Well, the fact that we apparently need to reinstall Windows on the big box to make it possible for me to play Warcraft again is sort of annoying. Especially since we haven't unearthed the disks from wherever they were packed; the box of computer stuff I found earlier didn't have them. Which means it's Somewhere In The Basement, Probably. @Whee.
I started working on the reread of Daily Life of the Egyptian Gods for my research work, got about 2/5 of the way through, and then my brain crashed and I've made negligible progress since then.
I've cleaned a lot of the cruft out of the dining room, but mostly I've done it by throwing empty boxes down the basement stairs.
I'm not sure the damn infection I had earlier was entirely cleared up by antibiotics. Celery seed tea tastes some kind of awful, as usual, and I'm nearly out of cranberry pills. Bunny, puppy.
qarylla and
staralshain stomped
splurby and me at Hand and Foot. In the middle of which
arawen came by and wound up sitting in the chair behind me and stroking my neck, which is awfully soothing. Then I persuaded
arawen to play with my balls, and so we played three rounds of Abalone, which I am much, much more likely to win at than Hand and Foot.
Then home and failing to find the damn Windows disks again.
