I would like not to be sick. This would vastly improve my happiness quotient. This messed-up core temperature thing is particularly aggravating.
While I'm prodding at things that irritate me, apparently the graphics card on the big machine only works when
teinedreugan is in Massachusetts. This would be, of course, because he's the one who's competent to fix it. He's away for a week and I already find myself wrestling with maudlin uselessness. I'm hoping the stuff we picked up at the grocery will help, since I've been perceiving a slow degrading in my cope since I ran out of flax oil. (I could write a long whine, but it would be obnoxious.)
Too much with the emotional morass to deal with, not enough cope. And I forgot to run iron pent this morning, bugger. I'd been good about that, too, it fits my rhythms there. Should do that. Discipline! Perseverance! Like Coronel Sandersh! (Only my father will get that. Hi Dad, if you're reading.)
Wrote 235 words yesterday. Working on more, but slow going due to frequent shivering breaks.
But on the bright side, Jonathan Coulton (the nerd rock artist who brought the world "Mandelbrot Set" and "Skullcrusher Mountain") has covered "Baby Got Back", which means my WTF needs for the week have been handily met.
(Why is my music player following "Ruby Tuesday" with the Toccata and Fugue in d? Am I not feeling melodramatic enough or something? Should I top up my wallowing with some baroque flourishes?)
