The attempt to do a video screenshot out of Warcraft has thus far been a dismal but exceedingly frustrating failure, despite [livejournal.com profile] keeps's great assistance in trying to make it work. Well, of course, right after [livejournal.com profile] keeps went to bed I tried an obvious google search and made notable progress, and this is because the universe is perverse. (All reality reduces to Hail Eris eventually.)

Thanks to talking with [livejournal.com profile] jenett, I may have actually worked out what I'm doing for group ritual obligations. Have banged on the web a lot and come away with Notions.

Not sure what to do with myself; my mind is not working on a useful cycle, and I'm feeling kind of messed up about that. Meh.

Not making as much progress as I would like on this chapter. It's being remarkably tricky.

Okay, someone please explain this exchange to me (genericised, but frequently seen):
"This position is [unfortunate]." (Bigoted, plain doesn't work, etc.)
"Big Name Politician who holds that position must be [unfortunate], then."

I mean, "Well, yes, and?" The objection seems to be based on, "BNP is one of you. Repudiate your holy politician or repudiate your position! You bleep-wingers all look alike, anyway." Because apparently a position that something is wrongheaded can be challenged with sufficient Appeal to Authority fallacies.

(This is provoked by me not responding to someone on the SDMB who did this with, "Yes. And? Did you have a point, or did you just want to make sure that those people who were holding that position here didn't feel lonely?" Resembles being too tired.)

Well, that was useless.
