Planted things outside today. Had [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan water them because I was too wrung out after digging the holes to haul the hose around. Of course, then it rained. It wouldn't have had we not made sure the phlox was watered.

([livejournal.com profile] suzimoses, I'm sorry. We had thunder.)

I bought a jasmine plant today, and potted it up into a nice blue pot and set it in the centre of my window. As per thoughts recently (under limited lock), I have started a Wesir devotional. The sort of help I need is not how to asskick the asskickers at the moment, much though it's good to feel Big Red back in the sky as the storm rolls through. I need to figure out how to reanimate and live strong after I've been ripped into pieces. So my Wesir devotional is: I will not let this plant die. I should probably find an Aset devotional for pulling the pieces together, but I've never been at all sure how to deal with Her; I think resurrection would be more useful to me to pursue anyway, as those of us who have been rent into bloody lumps are not necessarily in a state conducive to performing any reassembly ourselves. (Note to self: bring plant into shrine space when you're next capable of meeting requisite purity requirements and introduce it properly.)

And we sit here in our storm and drink a toast
To the slim chance of love's recovery. . . .
.
