Clearly, I shouldn't try to do anything socially awkward when I'm already dealing with weird emotional fragility (due to not knowing at all how to deal with something and yet feeling a need to do something about it; not capable of being coherent on it aside from muttering, "A thousand of bread, a thousand of beer, a thousand of every good thing" over and over again). (I should probably go do ritual of some sort.)
After doing the questing I wanted to do tonight, I decided to take the bag
sstaten returned to me, make a couple others, and go down to Bloodhoof Village to see if I could get enough lowbies to sign my guild charter to get it off the ground.
For context: one needs a certain number of unique player signatures to get a guild going. Alts don't count. We've been wanting to get a guild going by recruiting people we knew to sign the thing, but that's not working very well.
Bloodhoof Village is the second town that the Tauren go to. Approximately every one of the dozen or so quests in Bloodhoof involves accumulating Stuff. And if one runs out of bag space because one's inventory is cluttered with quest items, one is, generally speaking, screwed for progress.
So a bag is really fucking useful to people questing in Bloodhoof. A little inventory space goes a long way.
I know it's late, but I'm seeing people around, so . . . up on the general channel, I say I'm trading bags for guild charter signatures. No reply.
About ten minutes later, I ask again. A bit after that I get someone asking me what colour bags I have. What colour. The fuck. Because the fucking necessity for bag space depends on whether you have a blue one.
I tell him I have plain linen ones.
No reply.
I don't know if I'll work up the guts to do this again any time soon.
Also, I should probably smack iTunes around some.
