PantheaCon Day One

Pleas e excuse me my errors of typing and syntactic judgement, because I am currently not what might normally be called sober.

Got there early, spent time reading. Registered. Dealer's room closed. Read more. Fire alarm went off. Read outside a bit. Went back in. Not in this order.

Dealer's room opened. Went in and talked with Rob (elfwreck's) for a bit and confused him, which impressed me a great deal since he lives with elfwreck. Wandered around a lot muttering "Shiny thing! Shiny thing!" Got accosted by a stray person who spread her arms to show off her nice purple velvet dress and proclaimed "Shiny thing!" Found all the people to whom I am tempted to give money. Gave money to Rob. Got pointy thing. Did not get nice beige penis pipe; not sure who needs one. Someone needs one. They are very lovely.

Went to Anaar's Divine Twins thing. Talked briefly about Hetheru-Sekhmet. Wound up sitting with person with purple dress. Also wound up talking with Blossom (a friend of elfwreck's who I remembered from ritual last year) a bit.

Encountered friendly random person with whom I have a fair amount in common; random person joined me for dinner in which we talked a lot of Werewolf and I mostly forgot to eat stuff. But we knew that happens. Told me about party later.

Dealer's room closed again. Saved by con security. Hugged elfwreck. Encountered Loren randomly, said hi.

Went to, uh. Something else. What did I go to? Shamanic journey thing. Right. Did shamanic journey thing which is not quite Harnerian but she studied with him. Very . . . odd. Thought for ponder: I am the shadow with a million faces. I don't know if that's me or the spirit I contacted. Life is complex that way.

Went up to party floor. Wandered around. Encountered Loren randomly. Hugged Loren. Said hi. Resumed wandering.

Went to Asatru party. Encountered Funniest Thing Ever. Now in possession of an official Asatru martini glass. Am highly amused. Consumed entire martini; became smashed. Including olive. Heathens ran out of booze; left.

Wandered into ADF party. Wound up talking Egyptiana with a stray Alexandrian who wanted to know about Salem.

Wandered into party party. Encountered random person aforementioned. Talked to many people, including someone who shares larksdream's forename, which gave me a minor turn. Was asked by Blossom if this was the Discordian party. I told him it was the party party for the sake of having a party. Had some red wine. Also some very nice metheglin. (In the martini glass.) Discussed Blossom's urge to tell a fellow that he was beautiful. brooksmoses called, and I excused self from conversation with Blossom because pants were vibrating.

Failed to randomly encounter rmjwell at all, to my mild amusement.
