Wrote 1777 words anyway, though, and finished Chapter 7.

[livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan got me a copy of Sports Illustrated at the grocery. I flipped through it earlier, and wound up giggling a lot. (Hey [livejournal.com profile] staralshain -- have you heard? The Red Sox won the World Series!)

Now go nap before getting up with [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan to go vote and then come home and nap. They moved the polling site out of walking distance. At least out of November walking distance.
Voting worky much better when they have correct ballots.

I noticed certain lack of local race in which I wanted to be sure to vote 'cause I like my rep. Also, the vote counter had a huge backup, it was rejecting ballots, which they realised after the whole "wrong ballot" thing came out was because the thing was tabulated to only accept Precinct 4 ballots, and we had Precinct 1-3 ones. Good safety check, that.

So we kicked around until we got the right ballots.

The guy in line in front of us to turn the ballots in looked exactly like a twenty-year-old version of Manny Ramirez. It was uncanny. (But I am again in that "Did you hear?" sort of mood as a result.)

Obligation of responsible citizenship handled. Sleep now.
