Only 221 words today. However, also discussed Chapter 1 with brooksmoses, and had a several-hour conversation with ibnfirnas about conreligioning which was spectacularly helpful and which has given me a good place to start, so that was very very good on the work front. Very cool with the geekery, and damnit, the world needs more interesting Islamic characters.

Very distracted today in general, probably because I didn't sleep well. Going to bed earlier tonight to see if I can make that better.

Remembered to write to feri about the tool question I've had since Ht-Hrw got on my ass about obligations to Her that need to be fulfilled if I'm going to take up religious witchcraft again.

iced_spice posted a meme-challenge-thing to do userpics relating to things one's written or is writing. I'm thinking of doing something with it if I get blocked. At this point I'm more inclined to do a mood theme, though, much as I like the disturbing bouncing disembodied cat heads, so I have somewhere I can use it. However, I post the meme and link so any other insane writers reading my journal who want a cat-vacuuming project (here's looking at you, oneironaut) might contemplate it.

Today's most excitingly lingering discovery, however, was that the corner of the coffee table is both quite pointy-sharp and located at exactly the right height to hit me right in the hollow between tibia and patella. As they say, that'll leave a mark.
