Maybe I made better peace with the infinite than I thought I did, or something. In any case, I tried to print out the forms for my college application today, which has been, as noted a couple of days ago, way too much for me to handle conceptually for a while.

The fact that neither [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan nor I could make the printer work leaves me Grumpy.

On the flip side, I got a character concept for [livejournal.com profile] ineffablegame, talked it through with the gang, got it approved by [livejournal.com profile] annwyd, and played with [livejournal.com profile] roimata for the first time in ages. Yay yay.

*checks printer again* Still not behaving in the anticipated fashion. Rar.

The sun is up. I am tired. I sleep, bang on printer in morning. Evening. Afternoon. Whatever.
A little disconnected here . . .

My recon studies have led to me more or less neglecting my work as a witch. I've been thrashing around towards correcting that but not making any progress that I'd call progress. (Nominal stuff that I can pretend is progress, sure, but not real progress considered honestly. I need to see about actually registering for the Three Souls course . . .)

I noticed someone new had started looking at my journal; I went to see who it was (hi [livejournal.com profile] loreleyjacob!) and read some of the entries.

Working the Iron Pentacle. Working the Iron Pentacle. There were entries about working the Iron Pentacle.

I said hm. I said hm and hit Google and got to Storm Faerywolf's Iron Pentacle essay. And I ran through it a bit, and . . .

. . . dove for my bookcase with The Spiral Dance in and looked up what Starhawk had to say about the Iron Pentacle . . .

. . . and it's a centering technique, a centering technique, a power-raising centering technique and . . .

. . . and it works . . .

. . . and maybe I can fix some of my head . . .

. . . working the Iron Pentacle.
