I have this strange, chaotic, and remarkably potent urge to design prestige classes that would be appropriate paladinish-type devotees of various Names of Netjer. (This can be blamed on oneironaut and lstone and old conversations with teinedreugan.) This will probably manifest in a massive sequential display of cat-vacuuming sometime later.

This is the sort of thing that makes teinedreugan look at me with patient amusement and say, "You're so devout." It's a chaotic, whimsical devoutness, damnit.


In other randomness, I seem to have had the mad gaming luck today. It's unfortunate to learn at 8:30pm that today was the day to buy the lottery ticket or risk the family heirlooms on that game of Texas Hold-Em. I didn't get a single bad Last Card hand (and that understatement includes one where I was dealt half a hand of trump). I got all meranthi's luck. And then I won a game of Cosmic Wimp-Out. And talked with keshwyn lengthily about characters and the horrible things that happen to them and the secret identities of gods.


Today's shiny distraction was the founding of diffambitious, which can be laid at elynne's feet. Today's other shiny distraction was someone suggesting "left turn path" in a discussion of "left hand path", which I have stolen and run away with, giggling like a mad thing.

And my brain wants to stat the main characters from Kenshin: Wandering Samurai as D&D characters. This is because teinedreugan rented the first season from Netflix or some such and I wound up staring at one episode and muttering, "Epic Reputation. He's got the Epic Reputation feat."
