Section 65: 1115. Done.
Section 66: 553. Done.
1668 total, since staring at 67 is giving me a bad case of, 'Agh, blank page.'

And I beat [livejournal.com profile] oneironaut, unless gtst wrote some more after falling off the 'net. It's good to have my dear competitor back.

I'm guessing that I won't have anyone showing up to talk to at this hour, so I'm going to give up and go fall down.

In other cat-vacuuming contemplation, on the pagan board I started reading recently there was a brief discussion of the difficulty of cleaning wax off cats (rendered more difficult because cats are difficult to freeze and/or iron, which are the previously suggested solutions for the whole wax removal problem).

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] annwyd left me feeling unjustifiably old by virtue of never having heard of Roxette. I'm going to sit in my little corner and mutter "na na na na na" until the feeling passes.

67: 284 words. Ran aground on research.

Maybe I'll be able to sleep now, since I don't have useful research brain at the moment, or access to [livejournal.com profile] lstone or [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan for asking appropriate questions.

Calling all Mac users reading this journal.

Does anyone have a copy of the Map Control Panel, a classic control panel, that they would be willing to mail me?

[livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan upgraded my machine this morning, my newsreader stopped working, I upgraded my newsreader to fix, and now it'll let me download news but for some unknown reason won't let me post without this classic control panel, which I'm utterly unable to find on the web because I'm fucking inept at websearches and 'map' isn't exactly strongly differentiating as a word.

I have reported the presumed bug that is this OSX's program relying on some Classic control panel to make itself happy, but I want to post to usenet, graar and I'm hoping finding the damned Map Control Panel will make it work again so I don't have to wait for a patch or bug fix or whatever.

Graaaaaaargh.

Ah, graaargh, and I need to install lynx again. Graaaargh.

(I hate upgrades.)

Addendum: Fixed the problem. Old preferences file got the damn thing confused. Graaaargh anyway.
