Trot-trot-trot

Way to take it easy on that leg. No fuss, no bother, just a nice jog 'round the bases and back to sit down for a bit. Good to see you're being careful now you're back in the game, we don't want you to strain that muscle again.

(Weirdly enough, I want a demented message-board grin here.)


Also: I have chicken korma on the stove. It smells the wonderful. Soon it will be food, and I will be happy. My first time trying Indian. (The best part about having a partner with a pager is being able to ask him to pick up heavy cream on the way home from grad school. ;) )


Have heard from various folks in Baltimore (rivka and wcg having posted to their journals), received email from sstaten, seen larksdream post to her journal and confirm that vectorvillain and donperros are all right, and spoken to my father about the tree that with great precision did not land on his car. teinedreugan's parents just called, too.

Have not heard from my brother, oneironaut, or iced_spice. Jamie's impossible to reach, I'm not sure precisely what the conditions are where iced_spice is, and oneironaut almost certainly doesn't have power though. Shan't fret overmuch.
