869 words. About three hundred of which I wrote yesterday.

This bit was interesting; it's a manifestation of a character from a short that I've never finished. Sort of. (It's a manifestation of an institution of which the character from the short is the avatar? No, that's not right either.) An institution, a title, and a proper name; all of them the same word, all of them interlinked.

Miscellaneous other notes: At games night I heard a Metallica cover of Queen's "Stone Cold Crazy". This makes my head hurt in delightful ways.

I need to spend tomorrow in part doing prep for Saturday, because I want to be able to just grab what I need and go down to the headland when I go out to greet Sothis and my new year. Also need to go grocery, get the needful bits for making the honey bread recipe that was posted to [livejournal.com profile] kemet a while back. (Start the new year with food!)

Harrum, just past full; that may mean that the tide will be high at dawn. Hah, no, it looks like it's going out. Good. (Hey, I'm finding things on google today. Weird.)

I had a revelation earlier today when talking to [livejournal.com profile] gwynyth about, er, people being silly, poly-stuff, and bread. I'm putting the note here in case I feel like writing about it sometime.

I'm going to bed. Need to get my sleep-schedule to a point at which I can be up for dawn rites and coherent afterwards, yes. Up earlyish tomorrow, bed early, gotta figure out how to be sure to get up without distressing [livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan overly.
For lack of creative titling, I shall fall back on weird pop lyrics. (And hey, I should pull some stuff off this CD. I wonder where I put it. . . .) Heh, and now that I'm playing the CD I have a much, much better title off it. So that's all good.

This is another attempt to work on catching up because there's game tomorrow and I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I'm going to have to stare at it a lot because this one's being awfully fuzzy.

The photo doesn't really capture the sort of mutual flop of the actual pose, quite.
