So I had that nephrologist appointment today, hence the mood more pun than fact.
Apparently my tests today were within normal range (for me, which isn't normal, but we knew that).
This whole scare came about, apparently, because when I was in to my regular doctor for my three-month kidney byproducts examination, the spilled protein was in the 2-3 band, not 'trace'. (I don't know if that's one or two steps up.) This was grounds for immediate calling of the nephrologist and today's appointment.
Today's examination revealed that my spilled protein was, again, in 'trace'. So now I have more blood tests to do at Salem Hospital, and a 24-hour urine test. And the doc said he'd consider putting me on meds in these circumstances, possibly, only my bp's 96/60 and the meds he'd put me on drop blood pressure. Blackouts no fun.
So, report from the kidneys: we don't know what's going on. My body remains flaky. And I seem to use 'soma' rather than 'body' rather more than I speak straight English, which is at least within normal parameters for this system.
Also, THUNDER! Wheeeee!
Thunder thunder thunder thunder thunder.
And we needed the rain.
