I killed Diablo in Diablo II, and I understand now why he's the Lord of Terror. YIKES!

I have read the rec.arts.bodyart FAQs, which I found, overall, incredibly amusing and also some useful. I spent time time wandering around the web afterwards looking at pictures of tattoos.

It's amazing how many deeply flaky websites I can find when doing searches on snakes with wings.

According to one website I found while prowling around, Slavic paganism was full of dualisms and reverence for the four elements. Whurp. Mongo gotta do more research on that corner of her heritage.

I also found a site that does generic pagan names in Polish, which amuses me. Have a script, hit reload until one hits a happy. Thus far, of entertaining ones, I've gotten "Mieczmir", 'swordpeace', "Snomysł", 'dreammind', which I may give to [livejournal.com profile] oneironaut if gtst wants it, "Tomimił", 'tormentbeloved', which just amuses me, . . . okay, I'll stop playing with it now.

. . . Broniswoj, 'defend one's own'. . . .

Dwojwierny is a Polish word for the concurrent existence of pagan and Christian beliefs, meaning "double faith". I have a word for me, and I can pronounce it half the time. I really need to work on my Polish. And I need to go through this site's sources and see how much I trust them, but at least this one listed some.

. . . Długoczaj, longwait. . . .

Okay, back to kicking unicode with deep grumpiness. The code I got for one of the letters I need to write this message gives me Z-hachek, and the other one gives me w. I know how to get a w, thank you.

. . . Strojdar, 'buildgift'. . . .

Ooh, apparently snakes are sacred to the hearth according to this person. Spiff. Which reminds me I bet Kunda's dinner's defrosted.

It does amaze me how he seems to be able to tell the difference between me opening the lid to give him food and me opening the lid to some other purpose.

Arthur is, as usual, deeply affronted that the wiggly thing has a mouse and he doesn't.

. . . Bógdar, godsgift. To whom?

If wiggy characters appear (ł) this would be because I gave up on finding a way of representing {l/} in unicode and just copied it out of my browser in frustration. and I can't remember if I edited out the entry that had the {e,} or if I'm missing one up there somewhere.

I stop now. :}
