Miscellaneous stuff and dream notes before I forget all of them.

Apropos of the current, ah, entertaining discussion on alt.poly, I noticed that I spent about a half hour last night actually being strongly gendered as female.

It was sort of weird. I'm not sure what I think of it now that I've noticed that it happens when Misty's up front. I'm not usually that aware of my own hips.


Dream notes:

I was sort of expecting something with werewolves; I'd gotten an Underworld-fragmented pastiche the night before, and teinedreugan and I watched An American Werewolf in Paris last night on the telly, so I was all ready for weird shapechanging and an opportunity to critique the special effects.

I got Pirates of the Caribbean mangle instead, most of which I've forgotten; at least I was right about getting movies, I suppose. I remember earnestly explaining some aspect of it to keshwyn and jikharra about how a particular group of other pirates was Just Doing It All Wrong, and I'm fairly certain there was something about talking to djm4 about nail polish in there as well.

I suspect that this came about due to a feeble attempt to meld certain Billy Joel lyrics with certain profoundly Eshu ship captains in a badly failed pun somewhere yesterday.

Still no concrete for why I went to sleep with the Thundercats theme song stuck in my head and woke up humming "(I Don't Want To Be A Messiah) Messiahs Die Young". Both were involved in yesterday's sound mishmash, so I suppose that makes as much sense as any of the rest of it.

I need a 'random stuff' icon.

Wow, at least you have cool stuff in your dreams. I dreamed that I was eating this big white cake with white frosting and it was so so good. Then me and Rob started talking about pizza and how much he wanted to get it for dinner.

Wow I'm really making myself hungry!!!

I keep having this reoccuring one about hamsters reproducing exponentially and I can't keep their cages clean fast enough. Poor hamsters.

Although I have dreamed that I was a guy before, most of the time I am genderless...

My own sense of my body definitely changes a lot depending on whose been out most recently.

It was a very interesting sort of thing to notice all of a sudden; just the difference in . . . weighting, the way I perceived my own sense of balance.

Sort of fascinating.
